Druski is a budding comedian, actor and superstar with over 6 million Instagram followers and a million YouTube subscribers (we helped him achieve that last part).

As the social media agency of record, Very Online Agency managed Druski’s social pages, created content and assisted with cultural insights and creative ideas.

In our first 90 days, without any paid media, we increased:

  • YT Views by 32.8%,

  • Monthly YT Subscriber Growth by 50.3%

  • YT Hours Watched by 175%

Our most pressing role was helping Druski launch individual episodes of his popular audition series, Coulda Been Records.

Coulda Been Records Auditions was inspired by an Instagram Live segment hosted by Druski where he would invite aspiring music artists to perform for a record deal. He then turned it into a nationwide tour.

Our social strategy for each episode launch followed a tease, launch, sustain format.

Knowing what The Algorithm favored, we invested in the media format of the moment, and went heavy on YouTube Shorts.

In fact, we cut up and posted 68 YouTube Shorts in the first two months.
